10-hour water cut in Colombo and suburbs tomorrow
Colombo,Oct.22 (Daily Mirror) - The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced a 10-hour water cut in Colombo and several surrounding areas tomorrow (23), from 10.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m.
According to the Water Board, the disruption is due to a power interruption affecting the Ambatale Water Purification Plant.
The water cut will affect the areas of Colombo 1–15, Battaramulla, Mirihana, Madiwala, Nugegoda, Nawala, Kolonnawa, IDH, Kotikawatta, Angoda, Wellampitiya, Orugodawatta, Maharagama, and Boralesgamuwa, the NWSDB said.
