10-hour water cut for Gampaha district

Colombo, June 9 (Daily Mirror) - The National Water Supply and Drainage Board has announced a 10-hour water cut scheduled for Wednesday (June 11), affecting multiple areas in the Gampaha District.

Accordingly, the water supply will be suspended from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. to facilitate maintenance work at the Biyagama Water Treatment Plant, the Board stated.

Areas to be affected include the municipal limits of Peliyagoda, Wattala, Ja-Ela, and Seeduwa. In addition, parts of the Kelaniya, Wattala, Biyagama, Mahara, Dompe, Ja-Ela, Katana, Minuwangoda, and Gampaha Pradeshiya Sabha divisions will also experience the disruption.
