He has been asked to contest by MR in order to devide UNP votes. Shafik is a good man I know but now he is playing for MR Bros & sons & Co. Ltd.

These Rajabdeens are not good and trustworthy people. Can you tell us why, Shafeek?

is this such a major finding? SLMC has always played to the winning side. They always wait to see who wins the election and then throw their support to the winning side. That is their stated methodology for success. They have always been opportunists and will always be opportunists. They have also suggested they be mediators between the Sinhalese and the Tamils!! Really? This is like a monkey trying to equally divide two blocks of cheese to appease the stakeholders by biting off a little bit from one block and then the other, in a purported effort to equalize the weights on the scale.

We heard many interviews like yours but till the interference of the defence ministry Colombo was a city filled with shanties, pavement dealers, smelling and pot holed roads with full of rubbish everywher. Now you see the difference? So please and please stay away from talking rubbish. How many years UNP and the people like you governed this city?Did anybody at least tried to clean the roads? So please try to be honest and not gain profits from talking rubbish.

"Opposition within the government" What a contracditory term and sounds more like "opportunist politics" of the SLMC where they are aiming at enjoying the best of both worlds. The right term for such people is "hypocrite".

What experience do you have to undertake such a big responsibility ? What are your educational qualifications ? We need an educated person with a proven background to be the Mayor of Colombo .Neither the SLMC nor the UNP candidate fill the bill.
