An international food fiesta will be held on August 24, 25 and 26, 2017, at the Pettah floating market.
The food fiesta will be held according to a concept of the Provincial Councils and Local Government Minister Faiszer Musthapha in order to promote the floating market.

The Tourism Ministry, Urban Development Authority and Association for Tourist Hotel Owners also support to make this event a success.

The public will have the chance to enjoy five-star quality meals for an affordable price. The middle-class community in Colombo can enjoy their weekends in this attractive place. There will be a lot of stalls for textiles, ornaments, handcrafts and food.
