Upul Tharanga scores 120 as SLC XI beat Windies

Veteran opener and former Sri Lanka captain  Upul Tharanga struck a swashbuckling 120 off 124 balls with 16 fours and 1 six against touring West Indies as SLC XI beat West Indies by 2 wickets in the 1st one day Warm-UP game held in P. Sara Stadium today.

Tharanga who led the side has been out of national reckoning for reasons best known for the selectors.


Upul Tharanga was in excellent form and put on a 198 run partnership with another Sri Lanka discard Asela Gunaratne who also scored 64 to lay the foundation for Sri Lanka's victory.
