Trinity College booked their quarter final berth in the Singer Cup two day event when they beat De Mazenod College on first innings in their Under 19 Singer Cup cricket encounter which concluded at the Asgiriya Stadium in Kandy yesterday.


Trinity will play Gurukula MV, Kelaniya in their quarter-final encounter.


Trinity 206 and  137 for 9 in 46 overs (Abhishek Anandakumar 46, Shane Gunathilake 23, Deemantha Bandara 21 n.o, Sithum Fernando 4 for 54, Asitha Silva 2 for 24, Senash Fernando 2 for 38)


De Mazenod 174 in 70.1 overs (Nimna Fernando 36, Ruwin Fonseka 35, Sahan Kosala 25, Ashen Silva 22,  Uvindu Wimaladharma 5 for 29, Abhishek Anandakumar 3 for 46).
