St. Aloysius’ College, Galle recorded a first innings win over St. Thomas’ College, Matara in their Under-19 Inter-Schools Cricket Tournament encounter which concluded at the Uyanwatte Stadium in Matara yesterday. 


St. Aloysius’ in reply to St. Thomas’ first innings score of 76 runs went on to make 146.


St. Thomas’: 76 and 192 (Woshitha Amarasinghe 75, Nimanthaka Bashana 31, Hirush Jeewadith 21, Harshana Nadeesha 2/24, Bashana de Silva 2/25, Sandun Madusanka 2/66)
St. Aloysius’ (107/7 overnight): 146 (Omal Sadith 48, Kavinda Dilhara 24, Niduka Malsith 25 n.o, Sachira Theekshana 4/44, Hirusha Jeewadith 3/26).
