Biz news channel CNBC launched on Dialog Television

CNBC, first in business worldwide, announced a new carriage deal with Sri Lanka’s biggest direct-to-home platform, Dialog Television. The business news channel is now available on Dialog Television’s channel 41.
“We’re excited to bring CNBC’s first in class content to Sri Lanka through Dialog Television,” said CNBC Vice President International Distribution Jacqueline Lam.
“Our focus is on delivering accurate and actionable business and financial news to our global audience. Being on Dialog Television not only expands our pan-Asia distribution but gives our Sri Lankan viewers access to the invaluable content that only CNBC can provide.”

Dialog Television subscribers can now access CNBC’s unprecedented coverage of the global markets including seven hours of live Asia produced programming every weekday complemented by live market action from Europe and the U.S. Some key programming highlights include: The Rundown, Squawk Box Asia, Street Signs, Capital Connection, Squawk Box Europe, Worldwide Exchange, Squawk Box US and Squawk on the Street. In addition to CNBC’s weekday schedule, subscribers will also have access to CNBC’s weekend offering of current affairs, sports and entertainment programmes including Managing Asia, Inside China, CNBC Meets, The Edge and The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.
Existing Dialog Television subscribers can get more information on CNBC programme highlights and schedules through the Dialog Self Care mobile app, which can be downloaded from the App store or www.dialog.lk.
