A total of 320 Sri Lankans including an expectant mother, stranded in Chennai, arrived at the Katunayake International Airport yesterday, Airport Duty Manager said.
He said the passengers had arrived in Chennai from several countries and had been stuck at the Chennai International Airport in India due to COVID-19 pandemic.
The SriLankan special flight UL 1122 returned from the Chennai Airport this morning.
The passengers were checked for COVID-19 infection, according to the instructions issued by the Health Ministry and were later transferred to quarantine centres by the army.
