The contributions were made by many doctors at LRH, including consultants
Government Medical Officers Association of Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children & Doctors’ Welfare Society of LRH identified a few families, whose members are dependents of daily wage earners and affected by the present curfew, and donated dry ration to them.
The contributions were made by many doctors at LRH, including consultants, at this difficult time despite they being deployed at COVID-19 combating centres.
The first set of dry ration was given to families in the Wellawatte area. The first set of rations was received by 200 families while the second set comprised 200 families in Horana.
