Six centers allocated to vaccinate elderly this week

The Colombo Municipal Council Health officials have allocated six centers in Colombo this week where those above the age of 60 years will receive the anti COVID-19 jabs. 

Chief Medical Officer of the CMC, Dr. Ruwan Wijemuni told Daily Mirror that the vaccination progam will exclusively be administered to those above 60 years and urged other age groups to refrain from visiting the vaccination centers.

Accoring to the CMC the centers have been set up in Colombo North, Central Colombo, Borella, Colombo East and Colombo West.

Monday, March 22

North Colombo (District 1) - New Bazaar MOH/MCH Complex

Central Colombo (District 2A) - Keththaramaya Temple, Keththaramaya

Central Colombo (District 2B) - Sudarmarama Temple, Maligawatta
