Seven suspects have been arrested for violating quarantine regulations during a special drone operation launched by the police and air force in Modara and Mount Lavinia this morning, Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said.
He said the suspects will be produced in court today.
DIG Rohana said the operation was launched to monitor public movements in the isolated areas using drone cameras.
He said the operation will be continued this afternoon and evening as well.
Fifteen suspects were arrested yesterday in Modara for violating quarantine rules and regulations.
