SF officer killed in parachuting accident

A Warrant Officer (2nd Class) of the Special Forces of the Army was killed in a parachuting accident while engaged in a training exercise at the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Base in Ampara, the Army said.

They said the officer had fallen from around 7,000 feet after his parachute failed to open properly.
