The Department of Motor Traffic (DMT) had decided to limit its operations in issuing driving licences in the Werahera Branch following the COVID-19 threat in the country, DMT Commissioner Sumith C.K. Alahakoon said.
He said the services will be provided in the following manner for the general public who will be requested to call over after making a prior appointment in the afternoon between 27 and May 13 (both days inclusive) through Telephone 011-2677877 of the DMT Werahera Office.
Similarly, the visitors who had obtained an appointment before noon on the aforesaid days (including noon), can avail of the services from 8.30 am. to 3.00 pm. on the same day at the Werahera RMT office.
