A Police Sergeant, attached to the Narammala Police Station was killed when the motorcycle he was riding on collided head on with an army cab at Galwanguwa Junction in Narammala last night.
Police said the army cab travelling towards Kuliyapitiya on the Narammala-Kuliyapitiya Main Road collided with the motorcycle at around 7.10 last night.
The Police Sergeant, resident of Pothuhera died on admission to the Narammala Hospital.
An Army officer has been arrested over the accident.
