A 31-year-old mother and her two children aged 12 and 13 sustained fatal injuries after jumping onto the railway tracks in Kollupitiya this evening as the Aluthgama bound train from Colombo Fort was approaching, the police said.
Kollupitiya Police said there was a letter inside the bag of the woman which stated that they were undergoing severe economic hardships. (Sheain Fernandopulle)

Oh My God. Railway must consider to make a fence atleast within the Colombo city first. When people go to beach they have ti cross railway track.
