Several roads in Colombo city have been affected with minor floods due to torrential rains showered this morning, Police said.
Accordingly, Armour Street and Barber Street in front of Kotahena Jethawana Viharaya, Ingurukade Junction, Gamini Roundabout, near Devi Balika Vidyalaya Colombo 8, Thummulla Junction, Havelock Road and Bandaranayake Mawatha had been flooded
Police requested motorists to be extra cautious when driving during heavy rains.
Meanwhile, several roads in Enderamulla, Elapitiwala, Ragama and Kirimetiyagara in Gampaha were flooded.
