JMO of Palai Hospital arrested

The Judicial Medical Officer (JMO) of the Palai Hospital has been arrested by the Army in connection with alleged involvement in terrorist activities, police said.

Police Spokesman Ruwan Gunsekara said he was handed over to the Terrorist Investigation Division (TID) for further investigation.

The suspect was identified as 41-year-old Sinnaaiya Siwaruban of Chawkachcheri, Jaffna.
