Majority of COVID-19 cases have been reported from the Colombo district out of the total of 373 cases reported in Sri Lanka during the last 24 hours, the Health Ministry said.
Accordingly, 271 cases were reported from Colombo, forty-six cases from the Gampaha district while 12 cases were reported from the Kalutara district.
Meanwhile, ten cases were reported from Kegalle while four and two cases were reported from Galle and Polonnaruwa districts respectively.
One case each was reported from Puttalam, Ratnapura, Hambantota and Matale districts.
According to the Health Ministry, twenty cases were reported from the police and four cases from the local expatriates arrived in the country.
It was observed that no cases have been reported from Kurunegala and Kandy Districts where cases were reported until recently.
