What a poor state of this Democratic Sri Lanka. Innocent poor and minorities are denied basic human rights and tied up in racism.

Some form of closure for these men/women who passed away with virus is a good thing. May they rest in peace. What to do all the survivors wanted the Govt to bear the cost and was holding on. Even the relatives who had the money for cremation did want to get the Govt to do the needful. Precarious situation.

Under what clause in the constitution or what law can this be done? Or is it under military rule?
