Seven members of the new Manning Market in Peliyagoda reported to have been tested positive for COVID-19 today, the PHI union said.
They said the PCR tests were conducted last Thursday (31) among the traders, stall owners and customers.
Moreover, the All Ceylon Economic Centres and Manning Market Traders' Union President H. M. Upasena told the Daily Mirror that seven individuals from the New Peliyagoda Manning Market were tested positive.
However, action wil be taken to continue with the procedures at the Market premises following health recommondations with the help of health officials and security forces personnel.
