Pancha Maha Purusha Yogas, Ruchaka, Bhadra, Hamsa, Malavya and Sasa arise when Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn respectively happen to occupy Kendras identical with their own signs, Moolatrikona signs or exaltation signs. For example, Hamsa Yoga is formed, when Jupiter occupies a Kendrasthana where, Pisces, Sagittarius or Cancer
sign falls.

According to Indian sage, Mantreswara, the Kendrasthanas in the Chandra Lagna too can be taken into reckoning when it comes to ascertaining the presence of Maha Purusha Yogas.
Results: Native is sure to get a high post and high status when one or more Maha Purusha Yogas are present in his Natal Chart. Readers may refer to the classical work Saravali for more details.

Kahala Yoga: There are many types of Kahala Yoga. Some of them are:
When the lords of the 9th and 4th Houses occupy mutual Kendras and the lord of the 1st House (Lagnadhipati) is strong.
When the lord of the 4th House either in conjunction with, or aspected by the lord of the 10th occupying the exaltation sign or his own House.
When the lord of the 4th occupies a Kendra, Moolatrikona or exaltation House.
When the lord of the 1st House is strong and the 4th and the 10th lords friendly to each other occupy Kendras.
When the Navamsa lord of the Lagnadhipati occupies his House
of exaltation.

When benefics and malefics occupy the 9th, the Sun and Saturn occupy the 10th and the lord of the 1st is strong and in common Rashis.
When the Navamsa lord of the 1st House occupies in conjunction with a benefic his House of exaltation in a Kendra.
When the 4th and the 8th lords exchange Houses or combine in Vargas (divisions).
When the lord of the 1st or the 9th occupies a House in exaltation or a Moolatrikona.
When Saturn in Vargottama is exalted and is placed
in a Moolatrikona.

Results: Person born with Kahala Yoga at birth is intelligent, cheerful, and helpful to others. He would lead a successful life commanding the respect of others.
