Asserting that they had finalised the list of priority groups to be vaccinated first, Army Commander Shavendra Silva said the military would transport the batch of COVID-19 vaccines to be sent by India to Colombo 
for storage. 

“Thereafter, the task force headed by principal advisor to the president Lalith Weeratunga will carry out all the procedures regarding the method of transporting the doses to other vaccination centres and storing them for inoculation later,” General Silva said. 


He said all the measures had been taken in respect of COVID-19 vaccination.
