Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and his predecessor UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe had a discussion with regard to Coronavirus crisis where the latter had said his party will support the government to resolve it.
Sources close to Mr. Wickremesinghe said he had advised UNP MP (Dr.) Kavinda Jayawardene to work with the government in getting face masks from India. Also Mr. Wickremesinghe discussed with the Indian High Commission officials in Sri Lanka with regard to the matter.
It was reported that Dr. Jayawardene had been asked to work on to getting face masks from India as he has contacts with several Indian companies that supply them.
