A total of 226 Navy personnel have been tested positive for COVID-19 as of yesterday, Army Commander Lt. Gen. Shavendra Silva said.
He said 147 of them were from the Welisara Navy Camp while the others were Navy personnel who were on leave.
Meanwhile, the Army chief said that a total of 3609 individuals are undergoing quarantine process at 32 quarantine centres across the country. He also said 4659 persons have left the quarantine centres as of yesterday after the completion of process.
