Thirteen residents of the official residence complex of Trinity College, Kandy have tested positive for corona virus, Kandy Municipal Commissioner Amila Navarathna said.
Earlier a 63- year- old woman who stayed at one of the quarters had died of COVID- 19 and these thirteen positive cases have been reported during PCR tests conducted on the residents of the houses at the complex.
Thus, Trinity College will be one of the three schools in Kandy that would not be opened today.
