To bestow peace on the world

It will not bring peace unless people behave civilized manner with tolerating every religion and ethnicity. Rather than carve statue better carve mind of people to tolerate each other, at least monks since they are the threat for peace in Sri Lanka.

with so many statues & temples at almost every junction, our crime rate is increasing by the day, children and women feel so insecure, so much corruption and unrest...the change must come from within oneself to live a good life !

Statues cannot bring peace to the world, it should be done by living beings. Sometimes, one wonders to what extent ordinary people can be motivated to believe in miracles.
