My hard earned money paid as tax down the drain to satisfy some rich kids. The mighty SL Army are mere coolies now. Oh what a miracle.

This is progress in a way. But, I feel sorry for the army who are been used as slaves in Colombo. This is modern day slavery. These are also the brave people who fought for this country's freedom. The people who spent time in Luxurious air conditioned rooms during the war, are the ones taking credit now.
All renovated icons in Colombo are been maintained by the Army, while doing a very good job at keeping Colombo clean, looking at their faces it is evident that they know that they're been used as slaves now. They just keep hanging on to it becoz of their poverty. Sad so sad...
