The picture shows eggs which were imported from India being inspected by health officers at the Customs today. The two million eggs which were imported are scheduled to be released to the local market tomorrow with a retail price of Rs.12. Pix by Pradeep Dilrukshana.

Are they going to inspect the two million eggs, one by one before released to the market? If so, we can expect these eggs for next year's christmas.
