Accident causes unrest

A private bus travelling on the Somawathiya – Matara route collided with a tipper transporting sand,  this morning in Thallarama in Weligama. 32 persons were injured in the accident out of which eight persons were said to be in critical condition. The injured were admitted to the Matara Hospital. In anger, residents in the area caused damage to the bus, the police have however managed to keep the situation under control.     NO. Bus driver seems to have used correct side right for overtaking but ignoring oncoming tipper.

    My uncle was in this bus and he is still in the hospital with both his legs broken! =(
