The Sri Lankan tri forces together with military personnel of ten countries were engaged in the Exercise Cormorant Strike in Kuchaweli, Trincomalee today. President Maithripala Sirsena addressed the drill via video conferencing.State Minister of Defense Ruwan Wijewardene was the chief guest of the event while Defense Secretary Kapila Waidyaratne, participated as the guest of honor and Army Commander Lieutenant General Mahes Senanayaka was also present.
