‘Ananda Asiri Avurudu Siri’, the New Year festival of the Primary Section of Ananda College was held at its playground recently. The chief guest at the event held under the guidance of Kithsiri Liyanagamage, the Principal of Ananda College and Damayanthi Kodituwakku, Principal of the Primary Section, was Prof. J. B. Dissanayake.
An old boy of Ananda College, he served as the Sri Lankan Ambassador to Thailand at one time. Shashika Jayatilleka, Director–Programmes of Buddhist TV, was a special invitee. Cherubium Lanka distributed ‘Marina’ Aluth Avurudu gift packs amongst the staff of Ananda College on the occasion.
