Ceylon Chamber launches dedicated website to promote international investor forum

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce has launched a dedicated website to promote its upcoming event - Sri Lanka Investment & Business Conclave 2016 - which is to be held in March 2016.

The http://www.invest-srilanka.lk provides a series of details for stakeholders who want to take part in the event. The prospective participants can both register and also pay via online through the website.The new website includes comprehensive details of the three-day forum, which is planning to attract over 100 international investors to help the country attract quality foreign direct investments (FDIs) and to make Sri Lanka a preferred investment destination - one of the core principals of the chamber.Accordingly, it provides details such as the focus sectors of the event, programme schedule, details on accommodation and registration and also contact details of the secretariat of the event.

The unique feature of the website is publishing the investors taking part in the event. This site also allows participants to express their interest to meet the other participating investors by choosing from the list published on the website.

Sri Lanka Investment & Business Conclave 2016 will enable potential overseas investors to hold business-to-business (B2B) meetings with the Sri Lankan counterparts, meet top government ministers and officials and visit the industrial zones and strategic economic locations of the country, during the three-day event.The latest move by the 176-year-old chamber comes amidst heavy investments Sri Lanka has made in the recent times to develop its infrastructure, such as ports, airports, road networks and telecommunication facilities.
