ECONOMYNEXT: Sri Lanka’s 12-month treasury bill yield edged up four basis points to 11.24 percent at an auction yesterday compared with the week before, data from the state debt office showed.
The three-month bill was not offered while the six-month bill yield rose two basis points to 10.03 percent from last week.
The debt office offered Rs.16 billion of 12-month bills and accepted Rs.14.7 billion after getting offers worth Rs.31.6 billion.
It also offered Rs.7 billion of six-month bills and accepted offers of Rs.8.3 billion.
