Petrochina International (Singapore) Pte Ltd., and Swiss Singapore International have secured contracts to supply petrol and diesel to Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) for the next eight months, starting from March, according to the Cabinet Office.
The Cabinet of Ministers on Wednesday approved a memorandum presented by Transport Service Management and Power & Energy Ministry Mahinda Amaraweera to award these contracts to the two firms.
Accordingly, Petrochina International (Singapore) Pte Ltd will supply 520,000 barrels of diesel (0.05 percent sulfour) and 680,000 barrels of 92-Octane petrol from March 5 to
November 14.
Swiss Singapore Overseas Enterprises Ltd will supply 2.24 million barrels of diesel from March 1 to October 31.
