Over 350 CEOs and senior corporate executives, including chairpersons, managing directors, CEOs and directors representing the Sri Lankan corporate sector, have already signed in to take part in Sri Lanka Economic Summit 2017, which is set to start next week.
Apart from the corporate executives, representatives from Colombo-based diplomatic missions, multilateral agencies and also government bodies such as the Central Bank and Colombo Stock Exchange have also registered to take part in the event.
The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce has lined up over 50 speakers, both from Sri Lanka and overseas, consisting of high-profile cabinet ministers, policymakers, business leaders and academics to share insights and also make recommendations on how Sri Lanka can transform its economy to realize its true potential by right execution of plans.
The summit, which will be held under the title of ‘Execute – Transform – Realize’, will conduct eight thematic sessions. The sessions will focus on economic transformation through policy reforms, domestic and global economic headwinds and also how Sri Lanka can adapt to the changing scenarios and succeed in a competitive environment.
The event will take place on July 25 and 26, 2017, at Cinnamon Grand Hotel, Colombo.
Sunshine Holdings PLC comes in as the Platinum sponsor of the event, Standard Chartered Bank enters the fray as the Gold sponsor, Fonterra Brands as the Silver sponsor and Dialog Axiata is the telecommunications partner, whilst Janashakthi Insurance, Prima Group and Nestle Lanka join in as the strategic partners. Echo Wave is the digital events platform partner and OMD of OmniCom MediaGroup is the communications partner.
