The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) yesterday said the market would be closed from tomorrow onwards until the curfew is lifted.
“In view of the extension of curfew declared by the government as a measure to contain the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been decided that CSE will remain closed for trading from Wednesday, 1st of April 2020 onwards until curfew is lifted,” the CSE’s official Twitter account said.
The CSE has been closed since March 16, first due to coronavirus holidays declared by the government and then due to the curfew.
