Lanka Social Ventures, with the aim of providing services for business ventures engaged in recycling and thereby contributing to address the issue of solid waste management, is organising a series of public seminars.
Titled ‘Trends and innovations in recycling and opportunities for Sri Lankan Green entrepreneurs’, the seminars will be held on September 19, 2017, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., at the OPA auditorium, Colombo, September 21, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Caritas auditorium, Galle and September 22, 2017, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Kandy Club, Kandy.
The workshops are open to the existing recycling entrepreneurs and those who are interested in starting enterprises.
The content of the seminar series will include insights into the waste recycling situation in Sri Lanka at present and future trends, international trends, innovations and opportunities and a question and answer session. A leading international expert in the recycling industry for over 35 years from the Netherlands will be the key resource person of these workshops and will share his knowledge and experiences and the international perspective in relation to trends and innovations in recycling.
A limited number of special technical coaching sessions/consultations can be provided upon request on a first-come-first-served basis.
