Sri Lanka Economic Association in collaboration with Department of Economics, University of Colombo, is organizing a seminar titled ‘Emerging Challenges in the Power Sector in Sri Lanka.’
The event will be held on March 23 at the Department of Economics Auditorium, University of Colombo.
The guest speakers at the event will be energy consultant Dr.Tilak Siyambalapitiya, Ceylon Electricity Board Chairman engineer Anura Wijayapala, Chancellor, University of Moratuwa and former Secretary to the Ministry of Power and Energy Prof. K.K.Y.W. Perera and Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority Deputy Director General Harsha Wickramasinghe.
The seminar will discuss challenges Sri Lanka is facing in the power sector while providing a forum for stakeholders including policy makers, policy advisors, researchers, power consumers and suppliers.
