Dankotuwa Porcelain shines at NCE Export Awards 2017

Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC announced that the company was adjudged winner of the Gold award in the large scale industrial sector for ceramics and porcelain products category at the recently concluded NCE Export Awards 2017. 

Awarded by the National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka (NCE), this accolade is one of many that the company has won over its 34 years of rich heritage and plating of gastronomy in Sri Lanka and over the world.  The National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka (NCE) has been conducting the NCE Export Awards for the past 25 years with the objective of recognising and rewarding the excellence of Sri Lankan Exporters who have marked Sri Lanka’s presence in the international market arena through the manufacturing and marketing of local products to global standards. Evaluation of applicants and selection of award winners are usually conducted by a technical panel of professionals who bring in expertise and experiences from various industries related to exports. 

This year’s ceremony was conducted with great pomp and flair, with Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe gracing the occasion as the chief guest while Daya Gamage, Minister of Primary Industries, Faizser Musthapha Minister for Provincial Councils and Local Government, Dr. Harsha de Silva, Deputy Minister of Policy planning and Economic Development were present as special guests.  Voted as one of Sri Lanka’s Super Brands and a recipient of the Presidential Export Awards, the elegance, sophistication and superiority of Dankotuwa Porcelain has earned for the company a reputation for being the best in Asia, Europe and the US.
