An aspiring designer perusing products exhibited at the Sri Lanka Design Festival 2016, organized by the Academy of Design (AOD) launched at the SLECC yesterday. She is holding a paper bag made out of Daily Mirror Newspapers, a response to the age old adage that ‘Today’s newspapers are tomorrow’s waste papers’ and the growing concerns of garbage disposal in Colombo.
