it is time that some serious action is taken to educate military drivers that they also need to obey road rules. Even if you drive in Colombo you can observe that military drivers are the most indiciplined next to three wheeler drivers. They drive through Red lights dont stop at pedestrian crossings absolutely no lane driving 99% of the time and absolutely no respect to parking rules.

The drivers of the forces have the sanction of the officers who travel in these vehicles obviously the rot starts with the top and will end only the officers and 'gentlemen' of rank discipline their drivers.
