A golden option is available for this MP. Cross over to government to strengthen MR's hand, you will be saved from Police action.
SB Wednesday, 28 November 2012 01:51 AM
Irrespective of party the Hambantota voters should think twice before electing such a person as a MP. the Police should take action against anyone who breaks the law. What will happen is that the ruling party will do a deal to cross over and the incompetant Police by waiting for political instuctions of their master will be too late to charge the MP OR the other passengers.

Sonali De Silva Wednesday, 28 November 2012 02:55 AM
What about the MP? I suppose the guns, bullets and ganja belonged to the driver. Maybe both driver and boss were high on ganja when they crashed.

It will be lovely if more politicians go through similar experiences and that the Govt. does not differentiate bet ween Govt. and Opposition in exposing them.

This is how low the country had gone down to. Thugs drug barons not intellectual are in the supreme assembly of the people. If proven this person is guilty of the crime, He should be sacked and not taken by any other party. The media has role to play. Hope the media and other like minded organisations take the first step from here and eradicate this menace and all other menace.

They are diplomats from the MR Regime and hence they are all immune from all prosecutions. The person who found the ganja will be questioned and maybe transferred.
