Discussions regarding senior posts in the United National Party (UNP) have reached its final stage with a mutual agreement being struck between UNP MPs, according to a UNP spokesman.
The discussions involved UNP parliamentarians Ravi Karunanayake and Sajith Premadasa who together with other UNP MPs reached the mutual agreement regarding the allocation of senior posts and responsibilities of the respective members who have been invited to become second tier leaders of the party.

Good sign! Party first - then personal gain! The UNP must oust all differences within the party and work as a team! The UFPA will try all sorts of gimmicks to jeopardise the unity of the party.
