Two people found guilty of having murdered a man, his daughter and son on February 12, 2002 at Udugama in Galle, were today sentenced to death by High Court Judge Pathma Palihakkara.

An illicit love affair between the first accused and the man’s wife is said to have led to the murder. (D.G. Sugathapala)
