Security has been beefed up in the Kahawatta town by deploying Police and Special Task Force personnel following reports that residents were planning to hold a demonstration against the sudden transfer of the Chief of the Police Special Team that inquired into a series of killings in the area.

Sources said the people in the area are agitating against the move to transfer Inspector Rohan Olugala, who led the team that found all the details regarding the Kahawatta killings.

The funny thing knowing very well that thugs, rapists and murderers are protected with political patronage by the very top, the voters still go on electing the very same culprits at every election. Undoubtedly, we live in a fools' paradise,

This government is protecting drug dealers.this is another example of the cheap behaviour of the low enforcement of the country.
they are protecting the drug dealers/serial killers.
It is verry clear that law enforcement wants our kids to have drugs to make politicians rich.Shame!!
