Three injured in Southern Expressway

Three persons were injured when a car collided with a jeep between Galanigama and Dodangoda on the Southern Expressway in this evening, police said.

The injured were admitted to the Nagoda Hospital and two of them are in a critical condition. The jeep had been proceeding towards Colombo and had reportedly toppled. The car had collided with the toppled jeep. (Tex and Pix by Siri Mahabellana)

What is the highway cops doing with the sophisticated info. Last week, saw many unregistered vehicles plying on the expressway in both directions and cops apleanty....no action...
