Police asked the public to refrain from entering Colombo City on May Day (May, 1) due to the numerous rallies that have been scheduled to take place.

    Not only on May Day. Many would prefer to stay away from the city altogether, if they had a choice. Its too full of big egos rushing around to do nothing at great inconvenience to the hard-working public who have no choice but to maintain them.
