Floods triggered by heavy rain delayed the delivery of GCE O/L question papers to two examination centres today at Naula in the Matale district with some 50 candidates affected, Education Minister Bandula Gunawardane said.

He said the Mathematics question papers could not be delivered even with the use of helicopters.  The examination was to begin at 9.30 a.m. but the question papers had not been delivered even at 2.30 p.m. (Kelum Bandara)
