The sadest part is that Dr.Nonis' loyalty is with HE and “family” he should be loyal to the president and the country. This is not a hereditary monarchy for him to be loyal to the ruler's family.
Absolutely correcy ! Most erratic wording in his letter still shows his "proffesional servility". Come on man be more proffesional!!
konesaro Sunday, 05 October 2014 09:14 AM
Dr.Nonis, I appreciate you. You are a self respected man. Your resignation is correct reply.
Calistus Jayatilleke Sunday, 05 October 2014 09:15 AM
A good lesson for all the intellectuals and the educated persons who still want to serve this government which is controlled and run by the worst thugs, hooligans and sycopants who are held in high esteem by the first family. The only exception is professori Peiris who has nicely adjusted himself to be one of those undesirable characters in order to please his boss. No wonder some countries consider us as a banana republic.

If not for the Exec Pres system we will not be having these sycophants around and scum people like Sajin will not be hanging around doing nothing and milking the country and its people.

Now Dr. Noni's is leaving London, the best person to succeed him wild be the Tangalla PS chairman. Suggest that he be pardoned and sent as the new ambassador.

USA Courts can take action against Vass. But, there must be complaint to USA police. Had Ranil wickremasinghe taken action last year when his vehicle was pelted with stones in Balapitiya by Vass he would have learnt a lesson. Why RW gave pardon to him. Always when you do politics you must stand by basic norms of right ans correct. Vass's attack on opposition leader should have been complained to International Parliament Committee.

This was all staged drama. Nonis is a somnambulist. Nonis dreamed of all of this after taking too much liquor. His resignation letter and his hospital visit in NYC was all done in his sleep.

One by one educated and capable personnel are leaving and only the scum and sycophants remain. Is it any wonder why SL is treated with disdain almost the world over?
